2017 Fan Club Event

Posted by Fayth Barber on March 21, 2017 at 2:25 PM Comments comments (1)

This years event will take place on Saturday the 23rd September at the Holiday Inn, Filton Bristol. As is tradition it will be a sit down 3 course evening meal, followed by the charity auction for Pathfinder Dogs then a disco until late. As always, Derek and Gwen will be joining us for the event.

The cost will be £35 per person for the meal, auction and disco. If you wish to stay over, the hotel have agreed a discounted rate of £89 per night B&B for either a single or double room. As many of us always make a full weekend of it it is also £89 if you wish to stay on the Friday night too. You can of course attend without staying over at the hotel if you wish.

The nearest train station is the Bristol Parkway (approx 2 miles away) and Bristol Temple Meads is 5 miles away. The hotel is easily accessed from the M32/M4/M5 and there are plenty of free car parking spaces at the hotel.

To confirm your place you will need to pay a minimum deposit of £20 and the balance will be due approximately 6 weeks before. You can of course pay in full if you wish to. As places are limited, in the event you are unable to attend a refund will only be issued if we are able to fill your place.

Please contact me on facebook or at [email protected] if you have any questions and for details of how to make payment

Beyond The Grave - New TV Series

Would you like the opportunity to join Derek and the crew on set? see below for how you could have the opportunity

BEYOND THE GRAVE (TM REGISTERED)

STARRING DEREK ACORAH

DIRECTED BY KEVIN ELLIOTT

PRESENTED BY ALAN BATES

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER GWEN ACORAH

YOUR TELEVISION DEMANDS SOMETHING NEW, THE VIEWERS WANT SOMETHING NEW, WE HAVE CREATED A BRAND NEW STYLE SHOW.

The production team have selected 12 cases of ‘Strange and Mysterious deaths, unsolved murders or closed well-known modern and historical cases.

The series has an independent Investigator, Robert Randall, (Bob) who has over 30 years experience in his career with forensic and criminal investigations, not only with the British Police and Government intelligence services but also in South Africa and the Far East.

Derek’s enthusiastic and energetic approach will look to connect with spirit, accompanied by Alan Bates. Alan has a long television career and has been a guest on many high profile programs such as the Graham Norton show. Alan will be explaining to viewers exactly what is happening giving tense and drama to the episode and giving a narrated voiceover in part.

Using his Investigation skills, Bob, together with a research team, collates known facts from families, friends, neighbours, public records and archives, into each case. With these established facts, Alan follows Derek in each episode to known locations around the UK. For each case Alan will give Derek graphic details of known facts to both camera and additionally narrated voiceover. Derek will then try to connect with the deceased and where possible use psychometry with either an object belonging to the deceased or missing person, or we gain permission to the current householder to visit the scene of the crime or the last known place of the person’s whereabouts or even the murder weapon. Through Bob Randall’s Police contacts we may have access to ‘other material’ or non-disclosed information which will not breach data protection.

During the course of these investigations Alan may have to refer leads back to Bob and his research team for further investigation (these will be scenes cut to Alan talking to Bob on the phone, with Bob and the team actively making enquiries) which then possibly leads Derek onto another location, or a new lead, could this be a link to where the body was last seen?

A NEW CONCEPT, A NEW IDEA, NOT TO BE MISSED BUT PROBABLY COPIED (but its protected by the British Government Intellectual Property Act Trademark)
